My program is not a diet. It is an educational and coaching strategy that focuses on health. By building a harmonious relationship between mind, body and spirit, I help you find a balanced relationship with food and exercise that suits your uniquely individual needs.

You don’t fail at diets. They fail you!
Decades of research show us that diets are ineffective at producing long-term weight loss. Up to 90% of people gain most of the weight back in 3-5 years. A recent study conducted by UCLA researchers in April 2007 found that two thirds of the people on diets actually regained more weight within four to five years.

Why do diets fail?
Diets focus on food portions and control, rather than our emotions, our needs and our habits and thoughts. They do not teach us:

•    How to create life long healthy habits that keep the weight off for a lifetime. 
•    Good eating habits and strategies on how to cope with everyday life.      
•    Safe, effective and fun ways to exercise.
•    Dining out and low fat shopping strategies.
•    How to deal with cravings and feelings of hunger and fullness.     
•    Ways to gain more energy in your life.           
•    How to stay healthy, yet not deprive yourself.       
•    Strategies on how to understand and deal with emotions such as stress, boredom, heartbreak and anger.
•    How to find more time to cook healthy meals and exercise.     
 
If diets don’t work, then what is healthy living and weight loss all about?
 It’s about gaining knowledge, awareness and control. It’s about finally getting to the root causes of the habits and patterns of behavior that influence your choices. Diets don’t address this. Drive Your Life does, by offering you ‘specialized’ knowledge, coaching and support that really works.


Specialized knowledge
Nutritional education focusing on:
•    The Food Pyramid and how to balance carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
•    Combining foods.
•    The glycemic index and how it effects your weight.
•    Supplements.
•    Exercise and weight loss.

‘Mind, body and spirit’ focusing on:
•    Your relationship with food and your emotions
•    Intuitive eating in which you learn to distinguish between physical, emotional and habitual hunger.
•      The root causes of emotional eating, negative habits and thinking.
•      Exercising for health.

Coaching and Support:
My approach is unique because I work from the inside out. In learning how to create healthy habits and positive thoughts through valuable tools such as nutritional education, hypnosis and mental visualization, I help you gain the right mindset for long-term health. I do not to tell you what to do; instead I facilitate and coach you so that you can create your own road map to health. You like different foods than I do. I like different exercise than you do. It’s not my way or the highway. It’s all about you, for the first time, becoming the driver of your own life.

And it all starts with a simple, four step approach:

Dream -- If you can imagine it, you can make it happen! Your vision can become reality. But the first step is allowing yourself to envision a new you. I help you find the freedom to dream, by opening you to your very own desires and roadblocks.

Define -- Simple, yes, but not easy. Often there are old patterns of thoughts and habits hindering even your ability to imagine a future different from what you're living today. I help you bring to light whatever obstacles have stood in your way so that you may overcome them and embody a new future.

Design -- Everyone is unique. What works for one person, won't work for another. That's why I design a series of strategies unique to you.   I provide a custom tailored program of steps to help you succeed. 

Drive -- You’ve reinvented yourself! You’re driving your own life. And all I've done is help you navigate.  You're already well on your way to success.  And I am here to help you every step of the way!

The Power of Femininity is a ninety-minute bi-weekly women's workshop. We work together as a team to discover inner power and strength as a woman and bring this to the world with confidence and dignity. The workshop is designed to explore each individual's unique talents, creativity and to turn their dreams into positive action.

This is about women who want change, love, peace and productivity in their lives.

You will:
•  Clarify and expand upon your dreams.
•  Identify and overcome obstacles through fun and creative exercises.
•  Be involved in our think tank of ideas to design strategies uniquely suited to you
